Caring for community, preserving history.
Since 1918, the school building on Laurel Grove Road, has been educating the community. Since 1969, the Community Civic League, made up of those very students, have been working to preserve and restore the building while keeping the community connected. The school building is currently undergoing renovations. Thanks to the Maryland Historical Trust Grant, once complete, the building will have upgraded flooring, bathrooms, kitchen and finishes allowing it to continue to serve the community in a much more efficient way.
Today, the building is available for rental for celebrations, programs, services and community functions. Contact us today to book your next event!

In the past, the school building has been used for back-to-school events, youth programming, recognition services, celebrations and more.
